  • I'm arriving one day earlier than what's stated on my Visa is this okay?

I'm a US citizen and my Visa for Vietnam is to arrive on March 11th. However, my plans have changed and I need to arrive in Hanoi on March 10th (one day earlier). Is this okay? If I have to change the date, what's the most convenient way for me to do this? Can I do this on arrival? Thank you!

    Dear Jazz,

In case of unexpeted emergency, Immigration Department could make a condition and allow forigeners entering Vietnam one day earlier than arrival date stated in the visa approval letter.

However, please kindly advised that you should get the advice from your airline whether you could be permitted to check-in for flight.

    Kindly regards,

    Bella Bui
