I'm a British citizen living in Vietnam and have a Vietnamese wife , I have a 5 year visa exemption in my passport , I'm going back to the UK and my 3 month visa expires whilst I'm away will i need a visa approval letter to return to Vietnam and is that all I'll need ??

Dear Angus Guthrie,
Once you have got 5 year visa exemption in your passport, this will be regarded as visa multiple entry in 5 years. Everytime you leave and return Vietnam, you just need to present your passport to stamp visa. And each entry lasts 3 months.
