my visa for Vietnam will be still valid when i arrive but our baby will be born and i need to stay for two more weeks i have been told i can have a continuance when i am there is this correct,if you look at my history with your company i have used you many times,kind regards

You do not need to extend your visa once you have a work permit in hand. Please inform you that with a Japanese passport you can stay in Vietnam within 15 days every time you enter Vietnam. This means that you should leave Vietnam when your visa is expired and back to Vietnam again in 15 days. In this period you can wait for your work permit.
