    Dear Girardeau,

First off all, please allow us to reply to you in English.

Regarding your concern, we would like to say that you should not worry in case you arrive in Vietnam later than the arrival date issued in your visa approval letter. It means that if the arrival date granted in your visa approval letter is January 29, you can enter Vietnam on that date or on January 30, no problem at all (but you cannot arrive earlier than that date)

We hope this information is clear to you.

    Have a nice day,

  • Visa reqirement for Canadian with two arrivals in Vietnam

I am planning a trip that will start in Hanoi about Jan 28, followed by 3weeks in Vietnam, then going on to Cambodia, Thailand and Laos and returning to Vietnam by land about 5 weeks later aand return to Canada from Hanoi. Can I purchase a visa at Hanoi Airport to cover the two arrivals over about two months?

In Visa on arrival, Asked by Wayne Thrasher, 5,031 hours ago Comment View all 1 comment

    Dear Wayne Thrasher,

Please be advised that you should apply for a 3-month multiple entry visa to cover both of your arrivals in Vietnam. The arrival date to fill in the visa application form here is your earliest planned arrival date.

Please remember to carefully consider your arrival date before submitting your visa application form to us since you can enter later than that date but cannot later earlier than that date once it is granted in your visa approval letter.

Have a nice day and Happy New Year,
