Proof of leaving Vietnam before my visa expires?

Do I need proof of the date that I am leaving Vietnam before my visa expires? eg/ a return plane ticket to Bangkok
I am planning on buying a one-way ticket to Ho Chi Minh City AFTER I get my vietnam visa. Flying to HCMC, taking trains north to Hanoi then buying a one-way ticket back to Bangkok once I am ready to leave (within one month). Is this o.k?

Type of visa for going on cruise to Vietnam

Hi, Im going to take a cruise that starts in Shanghai and ends in Singapore. Along the way we make 3 stops in Vietnam that are continious (April 30 – Danang / May 1st – Nha Trang/ May 2nd – Ho Chi Min city, so my question is : Do I need to get a Multientry Visa or am I ok with just getting de 1 entry visa?

How to get Vietnam visa from Ottawa?

Hello,

I am planning to fly into Vietnam for vacation in November 2011 & will be leaving early/mid December.

There is a Vietnamese embassy in Ottawa; however I am reluctant to mail my passport to them for the visa application.

As there is an Embassy in my country (although not close to me) is it a requirement that they issue the visa or can I still obtain the ‘Visa approval letter’ and how do I apply for that?
