  Since Vietnam visa on arrival is applied to those travelling to Vietnam by air ONLY, so if you enter Vietnam by other means of transport, you cannot apply for Vietnam visa on arrival. In this case, you should contact the nearest Vietnam Embassy no matter where it is located to apply for Vietnam visa.

  Be kindly informed that Vietnam visa approval letter is issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, so there is no way it is refused at the airport.

  But one more thing to note you that with Vietnam visa on arrival, you do not apply for Vietnam visa at the airport, but apply for Vietnam visa online with Vietnam-visa.com and then receive visa approval letter and with that and required documents you will get your Vietnam visa stamped at the Vietnam airport upon arrival in Vietnam.

  Thanks for your response. As my understanding, the most importance to apply visa online is to get the approval letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, isn´t it? Then I would like to know more about the payment issue. I have Master Card so I can make the payment via OnePay/Paypal. As I have seen some other customers´ comments that sometimes they cannot make the payment or they do not get the approval letter after payment and required time.   For Item 10 in the entry and exit form: Name, address of office, organization or full name of relation, address of your relatives to contact while in Vietnam, you do not need fill in this item. You can leave it a blank. Or in you case, you can fill with the address where you stay in Vietnam.

  For the most convenience, you should contact the Vietnam Embassy to apply for 3-month multiple entry visa to Vietnam because the Vietnam Immigration has currently not offered the 3-month multiple entry visa. Or you can apply for a 1-month multiple entry visa and a 1-month single entry provided that they suit your calendar.
