I have been in the US for almost 5 years. I am not a US citizen but only a green card holder. Do I need a visa to go back to Vietnam for a vacation.

Hello there! I was wondering if I can enter Vietnam without a Vietnam visa on a New Zealand passport, if my staying for less than 30 days? If so do I have to have flights out of Vietnam already booked to prove I am leaving within the 30 days? or can I just arrive and book flights to leave when I please as long as its under 30 days? We are sorry to say that New Zealand passport holders are not exempted for Vietnam visa, so you - New Zealand passport holder- are required for a Vietnam visa to enter Vietnam.
You can apply for Vietnam visa online if you enter Vietnam by air or apply for Vietnam visa at the Vietnam Embassy if entering Vietnam by other means of transport.

In this case, you are advised to apply for 1-month multiple entry to Vietnam since it allows you enter and exit Vietnam as many times as you wish during your visa validity.
In case you enter Vietnam by air on your first arrival in Vietnam, you can apply for Vietnam visa on arrival to get your visa stamped at arrival airport of your first enter in Vietnam. Otherwise, please contact the nearest Vietnam Embassy for Vietnam visa application.

There will be no problem with that approval letter. The people having names on your approval letter are just those whose requests were processed at a time with yours by Vietnam Immigration Department. You still have a private visa for Vietnam when you arrive in Vietnam.

For Indian passport holder, you can apply for Vietnam visa online (1 month or 3 month validity) if entering Vietnam by air by sending scan of your passport and Vietnam return ticket as well as the Vietnam visa application form which is already filled to our email: support@vietnam-visa.com and then we will send you a link for payment . After 1 working day (urgent service) or 2 working days (normal service) since your payment, your Vietnam visa apporval letter will be sent back to your email. With that and other documents (passport, visa approval letter, 2 passport sized photos, the exit and entry form and stamping fee), you will get your visa stamped at the Vietnam airport upon arrival.

You should apply for Vietnam visa online for 8 of you in the same online Vietnam visa application form with the same date of arrival (the ealier date) since each of you will get a private visa for Vietnam and the visa holder can enter Vietnam later than the date of arrival filled in the form.
