There are two ways to get visa to Vietnam, get it directly at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in your area, or get visa on arrival via online service. The former normally takes more time, procedures and money. The latter is much more simple, and faster as you only do it online. What you need to do is just to fill in the online application form at https://secure.vietnam-visa.com/apply.html , settle the payment, and wait until 1 or 2 working days to get your visa approval letter via email. And on arriving at the airport, you just show this + your passport + photos to get your visa stamped onto the passport. This only takes a couple of minutes.

To Enzo deep: At the moment, we would like to inform that, Vietnam Immigration only had 6-month visa as the longest. After 6 months, you can extend or renew your visa in Vietnam.

It is my understanding that Thai nationals do not need a visa and can stay for 30 days without one. could you explain the process for this type of entry for a thai national. Do they need a a passport or is national id acceptable. Do they need 2 passport photos for visa ?.. Thanks

As Thailand citizens are not Vietnam visa required, they just enter Vietnam with a Thailand passport only. You do not need 2 passport sized photos but Thailand passport is required.

Your passport and information will be carefully check in advance by them to avoid any troubles when you come to Vietnam.

1. In case you would like to travel by air
-You apply online at http://www.vietnam-visa.com
-Settle the payment (service fee) as per instructions

good morning
i’m currently standing in vietnam with a tourist visa single entrance , but i would love to stay here to work in a hotel in my qualification as a f&b allround crew … do i need a special working permit? if yes how sould i proceed and what i need ? thanks very much
