Visa Approval Letter

Visa Approval Letter is the official document which issued by Vietnam Immigration Department that helps the applicants get their visa stamped onto their passport at the immigration check-in when arriving at the Vietnam International Airport. It is only used for visa on arrival for those traveling by air to Vietnam. By submitting the approval letter together with your passport (6 months validity at least), two 6-month valid photos, and stamping fee, the visa will be stamped onto your passport. And then, you will be ready to pass over the check-in door and enter Vietnam. Normally, this kind is almost selected when:

  1. There’s no Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in your country, or  simply
  2. You would like to avoid all the embassy/consulate chasing-down, hassle, and to save your time.

It can be seen that Visa Approval Letter is more easily and simply got and used. And it is, in Vietnam, completely valid and reliable. For visa approval letter, you’d better get a travel agent do all the procedures for you so that you can save much of your time. Dear Ikhagvasuren,

Normally there are two ways to get a Vietnam Visa: ONE, reaching the Vietnam Embassy in your country (Mongolia) (taking 4-10 days), and TWO, getting an agent do it for you (taking 1-2 working days) (mostly for visa on arrival, getting online).

But as you are in China, not in your original country, we suggest you get Visa on Arrival through online service, which is always the easiest and simpliest way. (Pls Note: this is only used for traveling by air).
    What you need to do:
    - Apply online at https://secure.vietnam-visa.com/apply.html and submit online(which takes only some minutes)
    - Pay the fee (around US$25) through Paypal, or Xoom, or Western Union (up to you)
    - Get your visa approval letter after 1 or 2 working days
Now, you’re ready to go to Vietnam. Remember to bring the approval letter with 2 photos + your passport to the arrival airport in Vietnam to get your visa stamped on it (pay some stamping fee)

Should you need further support, please feel free to contact http://www.vietnam-visa.com for free support. Good luck!

I am permanent resident of USA, married to a USA citizen with Nepalese passport.Embassy in DC rejected by visa application and said I need to do it through Travel Agent or relative, sponsorship and Immigration dep. in Vietnam needs to send them an approval letter before they give visa stamp on my passport.

I wonder what is the solution for this as I am traveling with my husband to Thailand, Cambodia and plan to enter Vietnam by bus from Phon Phem. What should I do? Is it easier to get visa for Vietnam once I get to Thailand or Cambodia?

    Thanks for your help.

    To whom it may concern,
I am taking some high school students from Australia later this year with one of the students holding an Iranian passport but being allowed to be in Australia on a 457 Visa. She has been refused a tourist visa despite being part of an educational group and I was wondering if there is anthing I can do to assist?

    Answer to Peter Schmidt:

    Thank you for contacting us!

In his case, Iranian passport holder can only obtain for Vietnam visa on arrival ONLINE if he can submit invitation letter and letter of guarantee from his Vietnamese partner. Other while, we recommend him to apply for Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassies/Consulates where he is staying or living.

We do hope this information can help you.

    Kindly regards,

    Anna Quach
