Vietnam visa extension – visa to Vietnam

Hello,

I am currently living in HCM and my 3 month multiple entry visa is due to expire on February 4th. Can you advise me on the costs to extend it and the costs for visa on arrival both one month and 3 month.

Best,

James

Answer

Dear James,

We are sorry to say that at the moment we cannot process visa extension for you since the policy for visa extension has been changed recently.

In this case, I recommend you to leave Vietnam and then come back to the country with a new Vietnam visa.

– In case you come back by air, you can apply for Vietnam visa on arrival (its fees are: US$21 of service fee + US$45 for 1-month single entry visa, US$26 of service fee + US$65 of stamping fee for 1-month multiple entry visa, US$34 of service fee + US$45 of stamping fee for 3-month single entry visa, and US$45 of service fee + US$95 of stamping fee for 3-month multiple entry visa. Please be informed that the service fee may be changed depending on number of applicants in your application. For more details, please click here: https://www.vietnam-visa.com/vietnam-visa-fees/).

-In case you come back to Vietnam by other means, you should contact the Vietnam embassy to apply for Vietnam visa. Since the visa fee varies from embassy to embassy, you should contact the embassy in advance for more information.
