Da ich am 29.1.2014 in Hanoi oder HCMC ankomme, bin ich etwas unsicher bezüglich den Öffnungszeiten der Schalter für landing Visa: Ich habe gelesen, dass die Schalter um das chinesische Neujahr herum geschlossen sind. English: Hello I am visiting Vietnam for three weeks, arriving at January 29. I would like to use the visa on arrival, but I read that sometimes, especially around “Tet” time, the counters issuing a “landing visa” in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi airport are closed. Please be informed that that only Vietnam Immigration Department closes office for Tet holiday, but the VOA/Landing Counter at Vietnam international airport works 24/7 all year long, including weekends, national holidays and Tet holiday as well. It means the the Vietnam visa approval letter shall, normally, not be processed by the Vietnam Immigration Department but once you have got the visa approval letter, you can get visa stamped at any time upon your arrival at Vietnam airport.
