Vietnam visa requirements for Chinese with Singapore Permanent Resident Card

Is it necessary for Singapore Permanent Residents holding Chinese passport to apply Vietnam Visa? If yes, what are the costs of getting a Vietnam Visa for Chinese citizens ?

Answer

Dear Lee,

Please be kindly informed that as a Chinese passport holder, you need to apply for Vietnam visa regardless of where you are now and which residence card you bring.

To apply Vietnam visa for Chinese, in case you travel to Vietnam by air, you can apply for Vietnam visa on arrival for convenience.

To apply for this kind of visa to Vietnam, you only need to fill out the online application form, and then make payment of service fee. Then, after 2 working days at maximum if you choose normal processing, or even faster if you select an urgent option, you will get your visa approval letter via email. You then print the letter out, or download and keep it in your mobile to show it at your departure airport to get on board and then show again with your passport at VOA counter in Vietnam airport upon arrival to get visa stamped.

Here is the cost of Vietnam visa on arrival for Chinese.

In case you travel to Vietnam via border crossing, you should apply for visa at Vietnam embassy. The cost may be vary, so you should contact the embassy for exact information.

Hopefully these details are clear to you.
