Hi, My friend and I will be traveling into Vietnam by train from China and I am therefore a bit confused about how to to go out filling out the application for our visas for Vietnam since the airport of arrival and the flight number is required. Any guidance would be helpful.

In this case, you may have two options to get a visa to enter Vietnam by train, namely:
- Vietnam e-visa;
- Vietnam embassy visa.
You are firstly to check whether you are eligible for an e-visa to Vietnam. If so, apply for an e-visa to save time and cost.
In case you are not eligible for e-visa, you need to apply for Vietnam visa at Vietnam embassy. The procedure and document for visa application depends on the Embassy, so you should contact them in advance for details.
