15 days in Vietnam – Where to go

A long journey from the North to the South of Vietnam to discover the beauty of Vietnamese nature, culture, history and people is something that many backpackers want to experience.

The route of a trip across Vietnam depends on the preferences and conditions of each visitor. Hopefully, with the following suggested itinerary, the visitors will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of the Cuu Long River, some famous tourist cities such as Da Lat, Nha Trang, Hue, and Hanoi – the capital with the thousand years of civilization.

During your trip, you should spend one night staying in each city in order to both rest and explore the beauty of each land in Vietnam.

The first 4 days: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Thanh Hoa – Vinh tour

In Hanoi, do not forget the places such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, One Pillar Pagoda, Hanoi Ancient Citadel, Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s stilt house, and Hanoi Old Quarter. Besides, try to taste delicious dishes such as beef noodle soup, Ho Tay shrimp cake, Ngu Xa rolled Pho, La Vong fried fish, and Thanh Tri rolled cake.

Stopping in Ninh Binh, you can visit some famous places such as Tam Coc – Bich Dong, Bai Dinh Pagoda – the complex of a large pagoda with many Asian records, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, and Trang An. This place is also well-known thanks to goat meat, Yen Mac fermented pork, Nho Quan and Lai Thanh wine.

After that, you will visit Thanh Hoa, the land with many talented people, the home of the famous Nem Chua (the fermented pork) or the beautiful beaches such as Sam Son and Hai Hoa.

In addition to enjoying the specialties such as eel porridge, rice cakes, oranges, you cannot ignore some Vinh’s attractions such as Lam River, Phao Bridge, Hoang Son communal house, and Ben Thuy bridge.

The next 3 days: Quang Binh – Hue – Da Nang tour

Referring to Hue, the tourists often think about the ancient capital with golden palaces, temples, magnificent shrines, majestic mausoleums, ancient places of worship. the poetic beach, the ancient architectural complex of the citadel, and mausoleum. They are always attractive to visitors when traveling to Hue.

Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province, is located on Nhat Le river. In addition to dozens of kilometers of romantic beaches with peaceful beaches, green water, there are many historical sites attracting visitors as Tam Toa church, Nhat Le beach, Quang Binh Quan, and Dong Hoi ancient citadel. Besides, Quang Binh is famous for Phong Nha – Ke Bang tourist area and majestic Son Doong cave.

Let’s move to Da Nang the next day.

The next 3 days: Da Nang – Quang Ngai – Quy Nhon trip

The next 3 days of the journey include the beautiful coastal cities in Vietnam, of which most prominent are Quy Nhon and Da Nang.

Da Nang has long been famous for its scenic beauty, friendly people and the most beautiful green city in Vietnam. Stopping in Da Nang, you will have the opportunity to admire Han River bridge, Thuan Phuoc, Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge and have fun moments with the Sun Wheels.

Quang Ngai is a coastal province located in the South Central Coast, an ideal destination for an intimate experience with the famous landscapes.

Blue beaches, long sandy beaches, and steep rocky cliffs are also the attractions for visitors to Quy Nhon. In the city of Quy Nhon, do not forget to visit the Cham Tower, one of the remnants of Cham history, the Twin Towers, Thi Nai bridge – the longest crossing of the sea in Quy Nhon city, Phuong Mai Peninsula, and Han Mac Tu Tomb.

The last 5 days: Tuy Hoa – Nha Trang – Phan Rang – Phan Thiet – Vung Tau – Saigon tour

All in this router are the coastal cities which are famous for tourism, so you can easily find a place to stay in each one. Especially, exploring places and landmarks in each region. and enjoying the specialties are the activities everyone loves.

When stopping in Vung Tau, you should not miss the opportunity to swim in Bai Truoc or Bai Sau beach, visit the statue of Buddha, the statue of Lord Buddha, and White Palace…

Stopping in Phan Thiet, you remember to visit Duc Thanh School, Van Thuy Tu Palace, Rang beach, Mui Ne, and Lagi…, all of which are beautiful places. In addition, in Nha Trang, there are some famous tourist places such as Dam market, Institute of Oceanography, Bao Dai Palace, … and in Tuy Hoa are Nhan Tower, Monument in Phu Yen soldiers, and Chop Chai.

In Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan, do not forget to discover the beauty of Cham culture through places such as Poklongarai tower, Bau Truc pottery village, My Nghiep brocade village, Ba Moi garden (collecting grapes) and Vinh Hy (seeing the sea and coral).

The distance from Vung Tau to Phan Thiet, from Phan Thiet to Phan Rang or from Nha Trang to Tuy Hoa are all beautiful sea lanes, with blue sea water and the white sand beach.
