If you prefer to manage the application yourself, read on. This guide explains what to check, what to send for urgent help and how to avoid paying for an unnecessary second application.
Key Takeaways
- The official response period is within 3 working days after Immigration receives complete information and the fee.
- The government fee is US$25 for single entry or US$50 for multiple entry. It isn’t refunded if the visa is refused.
- Urgent assistance depends on your case and the available processing arrangements. Immigration decides whether to issue the visa.
- Before paying anyone, prepare your registration code, application email, nationality and flight time with its time zone.
What is Vietnam E-Visa Expedite Service?
If you have already applied for a Vietnam e-visa through the government’s official system but need it urgently, our Expedite Service helps speed up the approval process. Instead of waiting 3–4 working days or even longer, we coordinate directly with the immigration department to fast-track your application and get your e-visa approved in as little as 1–2 woking hours.
How fast can urgent processing be?
Our options include 4 working hours, 1 working day and 2–4 working days. An existing application’s expedited arrangement needs direct confirmation. Requests for 1–2 working hours, weekends or public holidays also need a confirmed route and quote.
Processing follows Vietnam time, GMT+7. For our service, the period starts after full payment, complete required information and acceptable photos have been received, within the available processing window. Sending the first message does not start that period.
Ask for the expected result date and time before proceeding. Compare it with your airline’s document-check deadline, rather than the scheduled takeoff alone. A “1 working day” option does not mean 24 consecutive hours.
For example, a Friday request for a Monday flight needs a review of the actual dates and available working window. Counting calendar days alone will not show whether the service fits. Our eVisa processing time guide explains the standard timing factors.
How much does expedited assistance cost?
A pending application needs a quote for the work required. The table below gives published full charges for a new application, per person for 1–2 applicants. Do not assume these are the charges for expediting an existing application.
| New-application processing option | Single-entry full charge | Multiple-entry full charge |
| 4 working hours | US$166 | US$192 |
| 1 working day | US$140 | US$177 |
| 2 working days | US$99 | US$130 |
| 3 working days | US$88 | US$120 |
| 4 working days | US$82 | US$113 |
These options include the government fee, service fee and VAT, as listed on our visa fees page. Group rates and shorter or weekend requests need the applicable quote.
The standard government eVisa fee is US$25 for single entry or US$50 for multiple entry. For a pending case, tell us whether you have already paid it. Ask what the additional service covers and whether another government payment would be needed before authorizing a new application.
➜ Already paid the government fee? Send us your registration code and flight details. We will explain the support and charges for your existing case before you proceed.
What should you check before requesting urgent help?
Check the result, payment and any correction request before choosing a service. The next step for an unpaid application differs from the next step for a paid application awaiting a decision.
| Your application status | What to check | What to send our team |
| Pending after payment | Whether payment succeeded and Immigration has requested more information | Registration code, application email, status and flight details |
| Correction requested | The full notice and changes already resubmitted | Full correction notice, application details and revised information |
| Payment failed or unclear | Application status and bank transaction record | Code, payment reference and error message |
| Approved but incorrect | The exact error and whether the document matches your trip | Visa PDF, passport page, error details and itinerary |
| Not yet submitted | Passport validity, travel dates and acceptable photos | Nationality, passport image, portrait and flight details |
Use our eVisa status check guide to retrieve your result. A registration code identifies the application; it does not by itself confirm successful payment or approval.
Approved-eVisa errors need separate help. Our correction assistance is handled case by case for air arrivals, together with airport arrival assistance. Send the document before booking; this option does not cover land or sea arrivals.
What information should you send?
Start with your nationality, application status and flight deadline. Include the details below so we can review the request without avoidable follow-up.
For an existing application
- Registration code and the email address used to apply.
- Current status, payment status and any full correction or refusal notice.
- Corrections you have already resubmitted.
- Whether another provider is working on the same application.
For a new application
- Clear image of your passport information page.
- Recent, front-facing portrait photo without glasses.
- Planned entry date, length of stay, entry point and accommodation address.
💡 Use a passport with at least 6 months of validity from your entry date. If it has less validity, renew it first and apply with the new passport details. Tell us before applying if you hold a temporary or emergency passport.
Flight details for either situation
- Flight number and departure and arrival airports.
- Departure date and local time, including the time zone.
- Arrival date and time in Vietnam.
- Airline document-check or check-in deadline, if known.
For a group, send every registration code, even if only one visa is pending. Never send your email password. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
Can you get help on weekends or public holidays?
Yes. Our team provides 24/7 urgent support, including weekends and public holidays. Send your current status and flight details so we can check the available processing arrangement for that day.
Weekend or holiday processing requires confirmation of the route, expected completion time and charge. Support hours and the available visa-processing window are different, so obtain a specific result estimate for your case.
What can slow down an evisa application?
Check your passport details, uploads and payment status before assuming your application only needs more time. The National Immigration Portal requires truthful, complete declarations in English and warns that dishonest information can lead to denial.
Review these details:
- Passport details: your name, passport number, date of birth and document dates match your passport.
- Photo uploads: the portrait and passport page are clear and in the correct fields.
- Payment status: the payment succeeded, rather than stopping at the application-code stage.
- Required information: addresses and other requested details are complete and accurate.

Should you submit another application or use visa on arrival?
Check the existing application before paying for another one. A correction request may need an accurate response; a duplicate application does not resolve the underlying information problem by itself.
If another application is proposed, ask why it is needed, which passport and travel dates it will use, and what happens to your existing payment. Keep the records for each application separate.
Visa on arrival is a different route. It requires eligibility under Article 18 of the immigration law and advance approval before travel. For our airport service, you bring the printed approval letter, passport, completed visa form, two passport-size photos and stamping fee in cash. A flight departing soon does not alone establish eligibility.
💡 Our visa approval letter guide explains the document. An agency message, invitation or pending eVisa application cannot replace it.
What should you do after receiving the result?
Check the approved document against your passport and itinerary before traveling. Do not rely on a submission receipt as permission to board.
- Check the result using your application details.
- Compare your name, passport number, dates of birth and visa validity with your passport and trip.
- Check the entry count and entry arrangements.
- Print the approved eVisa and keep a digital copy.
- Contact us immediately if the document has an error.
If no confirmed option fits the airline’s deadline, discuss changing the flight with the airline. Tell our team about the revised itinerary so the application can be reviewed against the new dates.
What happens if you cancel or the result is delayed?
Refund eligibility follows the terms for the service purchased and its processing stage. The Immigration Department states that the government application fee is not refunded if the application is refused.
Service refunds follow our Terms of Use, including the processing stage and cancellation requirements. Contact us promptly with your order ID if plans change. A delay or missed flight does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Our team can check an existing government application for expedited support. Send its registration code, application email, current status and flight deadline before choosing a service.
We review 1–2-working-hour requests directly with the traveler. The route, documents, available processing window and completion time must be confirmed before proceeding.
If your journey requires an eVisa, a pending application or payment receipt is not enough for that route. Obtain the issued document and confirm your airline's requirements before departure.
Send the full notice and an acceptable replacement photo, and tell us what you have already resubmitted. Urgent assistance does not remove Immigration's request for correct information.
These details help identify the application; your email password is not needed. Use the contact channels published on Vietnam-visa.com and review our privacy policy before sharing documents.
Contact your airline about changing the flight and send us the revised itinerary. Do not rely on an unconfirmed urgent request as permission to travel.
