Getting visa to Vietnam is quite simple and easy now. There are 2 options for getting Vietnam visa:
1/ Getting Vietnam visa at Vietnam embassy before coming to Vietnam. You can contact Vietnam embassy directly for applying Vietnam visa, or get your visa stamped at embassy with pre-approved letter with code (Vietnam visa code) to pick up Vietnam visa at embassy from Vietnam Immigration Department.
2/ Getting Vietnam visa on arriving in Vietnam (pick up Vietnam visa at the check-in point). This is a more simple and easy way than the other, but not many people have heard of it. You can ask any travel agent in Vietnam or refer to us by clicking Send visa form then we will arrange your pre-approved letter (Vietnam visa on arrival) for you to pick up your Vietnam visa upon arrival.
In normal cases, you just use single-entry visa. In case you would like to enter Cambodia, Laos or any other country from Vietnam and then re-enter without having to apply for another visa, or you intend to have more than a month in Vietnam with tourist visa, you need a multiple-entry (or re-entry) visa.
This is quite simple: All Vietnam visas are single entry - unless you have
specifically requested multiple entry and this is stamped into the passport. The
status of a tourist visa cannot be changed from single entry to multiple entry
once you have arrived in Vietnam. If you are from the US or Canada, to get the
latest information concerning Vietnam visa applications, please refer to a
helpful website: http://www.vietnamembassy-usa.org/
Please click on My application box in your account manager (My account list) to check your Vietnam visa processing status. - "Under payment" status: Mean that your application has finished, however your payment has not yet completed. - "Processing" status: Your visa application is being processed. - "Finished" status: Your visa application has been processed successfully and the visa approval letter has been sent out to you. - "Not accepted" status: Your visa application is not approved by the Vietnam Immigration Department.
Visa Service fee is the fee paid online to us by you before traveling with a view to getting your Visa Approval Letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department. The prerequisite is that our company guarantees for you at the Immigration Dept., and accordingly, your visa is automatically sent from the Dept. to your arrival airport’s Immigration controlling network. After receiving this approval letter, you bring it to the airport in Vietnam, pay some "Stamping fee" there, and get your visa stamped.
Visa stamping fee is the fee that must be paid directly by you to the Immigration at your arrival airport. This fee is charged for the Immigration to get your visa itself printed out, glued (or stamped) onto your passport and sealed, after double checking your visa approval letter. The visa is stamped onto your passport only if all the information in your approval letter is exactly as in your passport.

Visa Approval Code is the code to be given to Vietnam visa applicants for them to base on it to get the Vietnam visa stamped onto their passport at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in their country. This means those applicants will get their visa before travelling to Vietnam.
Vietnam Visa on arrival is the visa applied for those who travel by air to Vietnam only, and will get their visa stamped onto their passport at the immigration check-in when arriving at the Vietnam International Airport. By submitting the approval letter together with your passport (6 months validity), two 6-month valid photos, and stamping fee, the visa will be stamped onto your passport. And then, you will be ready to pass over the check-in door and enter Vietnam. Normally, this kind is almost selected when:
1)You will travel by air to Vietnam, or
2)There’s no Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in your country, or
3)You will stay more than a month in Vietnam, or
4)You will stay there for a time, then visit other countries around (like Laos, Cambodia, or China), and re-enter Vietnam later on, or simply
5)You would like to avoid all the embassy/consulate chasing-down, hassle, and to save your time.
