What is the political issue between Iran and Vietam whereas there is a Vietnam embassy in Iran and Iran embassy in Vietnam. I live in Malaysia and yesterday my spouse (who is American!!!) and I went to vietnam embassy to get visa ! I was surprized when realized the fact that he can get visa in 5 days directly from embassy and I need to apply for visa via a travel agency (only).
My question is what is the political issue between Iran and Vietnam ??? Why for Iranian it is so difficult to get visa while in our history we never had a war with Vietnam as I think U.S had !!!
I just feel so upset to see and to experience these things , Hope for better relationship with Vietnam.

To Golnaz,
We are so sorry to hear that you feel upset and disappointed about this. To ourselves, we feel confused an upset like your feeling when every time saying that”we are not allowed to process the visa for you between the diplomatic issue”. As you know ,we are just travel agency and have not got deep knowledge about relationship between Iran and Vietnam, and so hard for us to explain why. We do business regarding to immigration issue and have to be under control of Vietnam Immigration Department.
We do hope that we will be allowed to process the visa for citizens of your country in the near future.
Best regards,
Sammy Bui
